The Mission of the McDowell County Commission is to provide the citizens of McDowell with the most effective, economical and consumer focused County government system possible.
Dog Warden Information
The McDowell County Dog Warden takes calls between the time of 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM, Monday-Friday. Call our office at 436-8548 to report your case. The Dog Warden cannot obtain stray animals from personal property, unless the proper paperwork is completed and signed by the property owner. Call our office for more details.
